Transformational Leadership is a type of leadership style that leads to positive changes in those who follow. Transformational Leaders are people who are energetic and passionate about what they do. They are not only concerned and involved in the process; they are also focused on helping members of the group succeed as well. In this case Coach Carter tries to better his student by taking the out of all the nativity that surrounds them.
Servant Theories of Leadership
Servant Leadership is one of the approaches to leadership which contributed to the way people lead today. Servant Leadership focuses on the leader as a servant, with his or her key role being in developing, enabling and supporting team members, and helping them to fully develop their potential and put forward their best work. Coach Carter loves the sport of basket-ball and being a student athlete when he was younger shows how much he is willing to dedicate himself to the basketball team.
Democratic Leadership
It is committed to task and people, getting things done while sharing information, encouraging participation in decision making and otherwise helping others develop their skills and capabilities. In this style members of the group take a more participate role in the decision-making process. Researchers have found that this learning style is usually one of the most effective and lead to higher productivity, better contributions from group members, and increased group morale.
